
Jessica Guenther swam for the Saskatoon Aqualenes until 2009. Placing first at 2009 Nationals in Figures, 2nd in solo she put herself onto the Junior National Team. After a very successful UANA Junior Pan Am (Jessica placed first in every event she was in), Jessica furthered her synchro career by going to swim with Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.
High Performance Committee
Mandate: To effectively oversee the development and delivery of the High Performance Program for elite athletes throughout the province.
Responsibilities include:
- to design, develop and deliver High Performance funded programs for elite synchronized swimmers in the province
- to develop an annual budget for the High Performance Program for submission to the Finance Committee
- to co-ordinate the development of the content of High Performance portion of annual funding submission, in consultation with the Executive Director
- To ensure completion of all necessary follow-up reports, in co-operation with the Executive director and the High Performance Coach
- to prepare and monitor the High Performance portion of the annual budget, and work with the Vice Presedent of Finance/ Administration to develop policies and procedures related to administration of funds
- to establish appropriate selection criteria and procedures for athlete/ coach involvement in High Performance programs
- to liaise with other synchro Committees as required
- to prepare a written report for the AGM which summerizes the activities of the committee for the year
