
Jessica Guenther swam for the Saskatoon Aqualenes until 2009. Placing first at 2009 Nationals in Figures, 2nd in solo she put herself onto the Junior National Team. After a very successful UANA Junior Pan Am (Jessica placed first in every event she was in), Jessica furthered her synchro career by going to swim with Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.
Competitions Committee
Mandate: To coordinate the conduct of all competitions sanctioned by Synchro Saskatchewan including coordination of scheduling, site selection, as well as organization and conduct of all meets durring the winter and summer competitive seasons and to oversee the effective development of meet managers, judges, referees and scorers.
Responsibilities include:
- to develop the annual competition schedule and solicit and determine appropriate hosting sites for all
- to ensure all competitions are conducted according to Synchro Saskatchewan procedures and adhere to all technical guidlines
- to conduct an annual review of competition schedule and structure
- to maintain and upgrade the meetmanage's guide and to provide ongoing training of meet managers
- to ensure the circulation of rules and regulations for any new competitions as well as to review those for exhisting competitions
- to oversee the administration of J-Tacs Program and to oversee all aspects of the training and rating of judges and maintain updated lisits of qualified judges
- to maintain and improve, if necessary, standards of the judging system as set out by Synchro Canada
- to ensure the retention of results, score sheets and oter perminent information for one year following the date of any competition
- to provide training for scorers
- to ensure approprate arrangements for judges for all interprovincial meets.
- to develop annual budget for the area for submission to the finance Committee and prepare a written report for the AGM which summerizes the activities of the committee for the year
