Jessica Guenther swam for the Saskatoon Aqualenes until 2009. Placing first at 2009 Nationals in Figures, 2nd in solo she put herself onto the Junior National Team. After a very successful UANA Junior Pan Am (Jessica placed first in every event she was in), Jessica furthered her synchro career by going to swim with Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

Official 1

To become a certified Official 1, all four modules below must be completed.

Official 1A: The candidate learns how to examine Stars 1-4. Once the candidate has completed the class time, they must examine athletes for 3 exams before completing this module.  This module is approximately 4 hours long.

Official 1B: The candidate learns how to examine Stars 6-9. Once the candidate has completed the class time, they must examine athletes for 3 exams before completing this module.  This module is approximately 4 hours long.

Official 1C: The candidate learns Refereeing and Judging Ethics. Once the candidate has completed the class time, they must be an assistant referee at 3 events (can be at the same competition). This module is approximately 4 hours long.

Official 1D: The candidate learns how to Judge Routines (Stars 1-9).  Once the candidate has completed the class time, they must judge 3 (eg. Solo, Duet, Team) which may be at the same competition). This module is approximately 4 hours long.

Official 2 (replaced JTACS 2)

To become a certified Official 2, all four modules must be competed.

Official 2A: The candidate learns how to examine Star 10-Super Star 3.  Once  the candidate has completed the class time, they must examine athletes for 3 exams before completing this module. This module is approximately 4 hours long.

Official 2B: The candidate learns how to examine Super Stars 4-6. Once the candidate has completed the class time, they must examine athletes for 3 exams before completing this module. This module is approximately 4 hours long.

Official 2C: The candidate learns Refereeing and Judging Ethics.  Once the candidate has completed the class time, they must be a referee at 3 events (can be at the same competition).  This module is approximately 4 hours long.

Official 2D: The candidate learns how to Judge Routines (Star 10- Super Star   6). Once the candidate has completed the class time, they must judge 3 events (eg. Solo, Duet, Team) which may be at the same competition). This module is approximately 4 hours long.

Official 3 and 4
